Hello, using the latest viber version under 24.04d, it is not possible to have the camera recognized. There are some solutions to the internet, yet none of them worked in my case. In order to bypass the issue I downloaded the appimage and camera is working as it should. Regards!

I guess you can report the issue to the Viber developers. I don't think Ubuntu developers can do much about apps that aren't packaged in Ubuntu directly.

I just found out that the latest appimage is indeed working and posted that here. This was not always the case the appimage to show different behavior compared to that of the deb version. Regards!
